We currently have an opening for: Audit Manager The Audit Manager oversees the effective and efficient administration of company audit functions.  The successful individual will supervise the unit employees including hiring, disciplining, evaluation, coaching and mentoring; oversee audits and provide guidance to staff relating to the entire audit function; coordinate work of internal staff, subcontractors and provider offices in performance of audits and writing of work papers; prepare monthly deliverable reports as defined by the contract SOW; and possess the ability to serve as backup in Director’s absence. Requirements for this position:      Bachelor’s degree is required.  Master’s degree in preferred.     Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. 4 additional years experience may be substituted in lieu of CPA designation.     Knowledge of Medicaid statues, regulations, policies, claim processing, servicing, audit and reimbursement principles and procedures.     Minimum of 3 years experience with medical record documentation review, utilization review and Medicaid reimbursement required.     Three plus years successful project management experience required.     Supervisory experience directing audit functions is preferred.     Experience with GAGAS and GAAS principles.      Experience in fraud auditing and investigations.     Background in same or similar arena as Audit Manager work.     Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and CMS security requirements.     Shows longevity in employment with one or more past employers.     Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and human relations, and ability to produce work free from typographical or spelling errors.     Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail.     Not currently sanctioned or excluded from any program operated by Federal or State Agencies including Medicare and Medicaid.     Ability to travel up to 35% is required.
