Summary:This position will provide programmer and business analysis skills using Oracle to develop and maintain the LA County Data Warehouse. 

Description:Programming extraction and transformation of data loads and user reports as required by Los Angeles CountyWork with Los Angeles County users to identify reporting needs.  Create, modify, document, and test stored procedures. 

Job Requirements:Knowledge of Oracle 9i/10gSQL,  PL/SQL, and SQL*LoaderBasic understanding of UNIX Operating SystemRelational Database and Data Warehousing ConceptsExperience with Software Development Life CycleExcellent Communication, Analytic, and Organizational SkillsAbility to Work Independently while Participating in a Team EnvironmentWillingness to Learn New Skills and ConceptsKnowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) Processes  

Education Requirements:Bachelors in Computer Science or Related Degree 

Optional SkillsOracle ProC or C ProgrammingKnowledge of Health Care, HIPAA, and/or Medical Management
