Opportunity Snapshot

Attention, UI superstars! Here's your opportunity to see your best creative thinking come to life as you design and launch prototypes that will help fight Medicaid fraud at the national level. The driving force behind our success is our employees -- knowledgeable, innovative, and results-oriented professionals who provide unparalleled customer service.

What's in It for You

Driver's seat on the cutting edge -- if UI is your passion, this is the perfect role to feed your passion and stay on the cutting edge as we're pushing the limits of our systems and garnering a fair amount of industry attention as a result.

Visibility -- you'll interact with diverse business owners throughout HMS; we run flat, so that includes senior executives, and your contributions will be recognized.

Autonomy and support -- while we'll look to you to achieve your goals with minimal supervision, the Development team has a strong sense of collaboration and a do-what-it-takes work ethic. We get our orders from the business owners, but it's up to us to come up with innovative solutions. We believe everyone has the right to voice their opinion and we foster a democratic decision-making process where you'll get to manage upwards and downwards in different situations.

Professional development -- everyone contributes to a variety challenges. We're software agnostic, choosing the right tool for the job, so we all learn from each other on an ongoing basis. One constant is that the pace is fast.

Work hard, play hard culture -- we're passionate about what we do and work long hours but, at the same time, we have a lot of fun together during and outside of work.

Career advancement -- we're hiring now with an eye on the future, looking for impact players who can grow with us. You will be well positioned to evolve your career along multiple directions, depending on your ambition and aptitude.

Excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive salary and bonus potential, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan with generous employer match, flexible spending plans, and much more.

Keys to Success

To excel in this environment, you will be passionate about creating a compelling user experience and have both the vision to develop innovative designs as well as the follow through skills to execute on that vision. You'll focus as much on building and managing partnering relationships as on achieving goals; you'll interface with cross-functional groups to synthesize varied inputs into cohesive UI recommendations that meet and exceed user requirements. Of course, you'll also bring a continual stream of fresh and innovative ideas to the table to ensure we maintain a cutting-edge environment. And finally, you'll take your work seriously, but not yourself as you keep a sense of humor handy and inject levity in stressful situations.

If this sounds like the right mix of challenge and opportunity for you, and you meet the minimum qualifications, we want to hear from you!
